Can you believe it?  I finally have a new computer.  i've been loading up on software, and working on some new tracks.  i'll hopefully have some new material for the BEAF  in december.  You should check out this festival, it's looking really awesome!  i will also be reworking this minimal website to be something a bit more exciting.  more soon, i promise!

Sorry i haven't updated in so long, i have been extremely busy with my other projects. I do have some exciting (and somewhat late) news! My remix of 'Point Juncture, WA's the Siesta Movement was released on the new holocene records compilation It’s Importland To Me To Be One Step Further Than One Step Beyond. You can find out more about the comp here. I also played a little set at a nice cafe on a mellow sunday morning. I am in the process of writing new songs still. I will try and keep you posted. See you soon!

Wow! it's been a half of a year. How crazy is that? I have been so busy with other things i hadn't noticed that it had been so long! Needless to say, dizzystarhouse has been set aside for some of my other projects, namely 'HoTT PiNK' and my rock band, 'millions of birds'. I also have a noise project called 'cubbyhole'. I have written a few new dizzystarhouse songs, and once again am interested in adding some new aspects to the sound. I will probably do another limited CDR release as soon as i have some new material finished. thank you for checking back with me. i hope to see you soon!

I have just recently redesigned my webpage. it's a bunch simpler, and should load more quickly. I have some shows coming up soon, and have been working on some new ideas. Once I get a proper internet connection, i will post more of my recordings online. I hope everyone is doing well!

WOW...it's been a while since i've updated. as you know, i destroyed my laptop, and so i've been working on my very slow desktop. mostly i've been working on tracks for HoTT PiNK, and i recently finished a remix of Point Juncture, WA's 'the siesta movement' for a compilation that will be released by holocene. i have been working on some new tracks, and have postponed a release until i have more time and energy to put into the project.
My friends over at IsDiff have been reeling a bit with all of the laptop problems and people moving away and things like that, but it seems like we're all coming back again. Soon we will have more great music to enjoy.

2/9/05

azmotronik and i have started mixing songs for my IsDiff release. i'm hoping to have it mastered and finished by june at the absolute latest. i am possibly playing a show at holocene with Genral Studies on the 17th of this month, it's still tentative. i'm also working on a remix of a song by my favorite portland band, Point Juncture, WA. it will be featured on a compilation of remixes being put out by holocene for their 2 year anniversary. i'm really excited for that one! please go see their band, and buy their music. they're awesome.
the label has once again taken some twists and turns...but we're still working on releases and showcase shows and events. we're in the process of planning a big westcoast tour featuring numerous artists. it should be good times. please join my mailing list on the contact page to find out what i'm up to. thanks for stopping by.

i have some bad news.
The other day at the hott pink show, i had a bit of an accident and totally destroyed my laptop. hopefully, i will be able to save the harddrive. soooo...it looks like i'll be switching up some music plans. i may have saved enough music on azmo's computer to master and release a CD, but it's all up in the air.
nonetheless, i'll be performing some of my mini sound compositions in olympia, WA tomorrow (1/20/05) with dampkrane (i don't know the venue, however). i've had to make some changes in my musical direction due to this horrible accident. i hope you enjoy what you hear. hopefully, i'll get the computer situation sorted out, and will be able to get back to what i love to do soon.
thanks!

we have reconfigured the label lately, so there have been some pretty big changes going on. please check out our newly renovated website! www.isdiff.net
the next release is a CDR release of mine! i'm very excited to finally have something to release, it'll just take some mixing and mastering and we're ready to rock it.
we're also trying to work out a trip to europe this winter. if you have any idea of how i could make some money in the next two months, please let me know!

I haven't updated in a while, so here i am!
The mini-tour with Azmotronik and mori. was totally amazing. I would like to thank everyone for their help with shows and housing and amazing breakfasts. We had such a good time! Hopefully we will be able to do something similar again soon!
The label is changing it's format a bit, and we're working out a bunch of new exciting things. My CD release has been put on hold, and there may be some new release actions happening. I have a few more shows this month, check the live page for details. I'm also spending a lot of time mixing tracks and writing new stuff.
I have a few copies of my 3 song CDR EP that i made for the tour left, they should be available on the label page if you're interested. Again, thanks so much to Shannon, Rich and Rachel, Lulu, Sariah, Slick and Monique, Jordan, I-wei, Theron and January, Patrick, Carver, Megan, and especially to Azmo, Brandon and Taylor for making such an amazing trip happen. It meant a lot to me.

it's officially summer! it's been really hot here in portland. sweltering, some might say. i've been working hard on booking this little westocast tour and have newfound respect for people that book tours for themselves. it's tough! we have a whole bunch of shows and things with the label fellas. check out IsDiff.net and my live page for upcoming events.
I guess that's it! i'll have more info soon.

6/8/04

the shows in vancouver and seattle were super fun. i had my first experience as a live VJ, which was so much fun. dampkrane and bitmarch had amazing sets and we were treated extremely well by our hosts and everyone in Vancouver. Seattle was totally fun too. HoTT PiNK shook the basement at the alibi room and i'm sure we left some sort of impression.

i've taken a bit of a hiatus from dizzystarhouse, but i'm back to writing music again. the ideas have changed, and i hope you like the new sound. I will upload some new songs soon.

I will be playing the phoenix festival with some good friends, and hopefully some new friends. nothing else is planned at this point, except for the tour...which still has a lot of work to be done. hopefully i'll be able to post more news soon. thanks!

a new and improved dizzystarhouse.com is up! I have lots of exciting things happening and can't wait to tell you about them.

I am planning a tour in august 2004 with some very amazing people. dampkrane, mori, and azmotronik and i will be travelling from Vancouver, BC to San Diego, CA. If you can help us out at all with venue ideas or a place to stay, please drop me an e-mail. check the live page for updated shows.

the CD release has been pushed back a bit in order to release vinyl from labelmates glomm and bitmarch. luckily, it gives me more time to work on some new material. i've got a lot of ideas and am very excited to share them.

we have been designing merchandise for the tour. we should have music, t-shirts and buttons and stickers and other fun things soon.
